Hey Scooby if you want to move the knife level put it 2 to the end. When you put it in the middle it makes it difficult to get off it when every one else has smgs and rifles. At least at the end most people are on pistols and you stand a chance.

Well,
Let's wait and see how things go. I did this because there are those players that run through the weapons too fast. This slows em down a little. This is an early attempt to move things towards making things a little more challenging rather than the same ol same ol. I'd like to wait and see where things sift out on this.

oh yes... it is hard. That's the whole point....... Look at it like this those that are up by thousands of points will definitely loose that cushion when they play. |

Well if this means me lossing ground from 20th position (which I have to fight for as it is) I may scale my playing back. Let me know if this option changes.

If you want to slow it down a little i have seen servers do a rotating gun order. This means that you go from AWP->knife then nade then back to glock->AWP then knife and nade. This way you go through the weapons twice, i've only played it on DM it could take a long time in turbo.
The knife in the middle doesn't make sense to me. You could also add another knife level. You go from knife to nade and back to knife for the win.
Just a suggestion.

i dont know it was pretty easy for me i was on it for like half a round.. maby less.. its all about timeing when ur attacking.. i mean if u run around in the open for 2 mins your going to be seen.. if u wait around a corner for somone to come at u its ez |

I can understand what you are trying to do scooby. But it's punishing the people who are good. It's changing a skill based game into more of a luck based game. I think the people with the better skill should win the GG. People shouldn't win just because they catch up with people who are stuck on knife when everyone is on rifles. And on the other side, It makes the game way to easy. once I get past the knife level, people who are on the knife level are such easy kills. It makes the game not fun to kill people so easily. It was fine before when the people who "run away" with the game get stuck on nade level. |

I gave it another try... and I stick with my previous statement, I will not be back on our server until the knife is moved back to the end of the weapon order.

Also, I just want to say: This doesn't slow anyone down, in fact, I saw people winning faster. Anyone that is going to power through the levels is going to power through knife, and since you now have 9/10ths of the sever getting killed 4 or 5 times before a knife kill, they just run away with it. I got on Galil and people were already on nade for the win, and I'm no slouch. Totally, 100%, unnecessary, and most people hate it.

I find it....interesting. I really don't have an opinion of it either way.
I have a hard time getting off nade so knifing really isn't that hard for me. |
