I asked you to stop more than three times and you continued. You also repeatedly used a word that is derogatory towards mexicans several times. We dont tolerate any of that and you were way out of line. |

I now understand but i never heard you giving me warning and i believe you have the wrong guy be cause i never said anything about mexicans. I am Hispanic and i am married to a mexican so that makes no sense. Not to mention I have more black friends than anything and the do not mind me calling them what you consider racist. Like i said i now the rules and I will respect that. I am good either way but it seems kinda silly to be so serious mr kushy. |

I haven't weighed in on another admin's ban in quite a while, but I was kind of struck by a number of aspects in this one.
Firstly, Kush was being exceptionally kind by not banning you after saying the N word the first time. Racism is not tolerated on our servers, and that's been made explicit in the MOTD. Whether you heard his warnings or not seems less than relevant. If I was the admin at the time, it wouldn't have been a matter of warning if it was evident that you weren't massively remorseful after saying the N word even accidentally in the first place.
Secondly, the first instance of racism and the use of the N word is sufficient for a ban, regardless of any follow-up slurs against people of hispanic descent.
Thirdly, your friends may be permissive to the point of being messianic, BUT our servers cater to more players than just them, and our rules are intended to be applied universally across all players who happen upon our servers.
Thank you for your mia culpa regarding now understanding the ban, but that being said, did you seriously just end a supposedly serious ban appeal with a "Why so serious" quip? Seriously?

P.S.
I'm just one voice, and I raise it on issues of racism. In the interests of full disclosure, the decision is Kush's, and the top admin's to make.

I agree with what Kensei said, rules are rules regardless if your friends took it in a racial manner because the are hispanic or yourself or your wife. Racial slur is a racial slur. and as stated in the MOTD no warnings needed to be admitted, and you saying you didnt hear or see any of his warnings is false as you now understand...
