Custom Skins go "Bye Bye"?
gigawatt
Been playing on the server for almost a month now, but I noticed that as of last week, my custom skins no longer worked. Tried downloading a few other ones, no luck either. Also, asked around on the server and nobody had any real answer (I guess I'm alone in using them?).

Did the server just recently start enforcing standardized skins or is there something that I need to fix client-side?

Thanks much!

CronicBob
yes, the server has been changed to only allow original files. say goodbye to your laser scopes Pfft

Steal Your Face
We have removed all custom skins and such from being able to be used on our servers...

The few people who felt it was neccessary to use skins that gave them an advantage ruined it for everyone. :\

I'm all for this. Replacement skins can offer significant advantages to players.
