What's the big deal with unbanning him? He wasn't spamming it, he didn't initiate it, and it was only one person he was talking to. If he was asking multiple players, then I'd understand. Honestly, it seems like you guys are getting pissed at him and his double/triple posts and just want to be unfair to him.

Look .... Goose... here is the cruxt of things... toast initiated a question about joining a group you are involved in. If you were in the server under a different name, he knew enough of who you were and who you were associated with to ask the question. Even though you knew what the rules were, you CHOSE to continue the conversation, even though initiated by toast, instead of moving it off server. You weren't discreet in the least bit about it and if we allow people to VISIBLY recruit on our servers when others are watching, it's a situation that will populate and spread. THAT is a no go. I see that others have come on to support you. I think while admirable, they have misplaced the issue. You are a guest in our house when you play the DoGz servers. If there is a situation where someone is wanting to join your clan... you DO NOT carry on with it in server. You move it outside the server IMMEDIATELY. This shows disrespect to us in our home by the way it was handled.
To that end.....Goose, this is a culmination of issues that we are starting to have with FSU.... we are noticing some discreet recruiting in our servers. People goin sayin hey come talk to me, and then all the sudden showing back up with another clan tag in server. THAT IS RECRUITING IN OUR SERVER!!!! If they come to you out of our server fine... their choice....
The clan is currently weighing our options on this, but it is a clear violation of our rules. Whether or not toast initiated the conversation is not the point. YOU chose to further the discusseion in server without shutting it down and moving it elsewhere. People are recruited by clans all the time and turned down... THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY WEREN'T RECRUITED... I also see that you have little experience in dealing with recruiting issues like this. I realize you may have not understood that any situation where recruitng questions for another clan being discussed in our servers could be construed as you recruitiing. None the less, we need to address this and handle it appropriately.
We will let you know our decision on this.

Ok. But do you guys understand that toasT did not know i was Goose until my steam started working and i added him? I had told him to add Grey Goose the first time he asked. I was making sure he wanted jion. Also Evil_Zodiac you had jioned the wrong time. Right when you jioned i had restated my question. I'm still saying sorry for something i hadn't done. I was wanred by Nice Girl at fist and then Kush when he was leaving FsU. Im not THAT retarded. If i DIDN'T care i would've been recruiting in your servers. |

Sorry Scooby. Wedon't even recruit anyone anymore. We only have 10 members in FsU. All other clans are not encouraged by us. |

I don't think this should be a perm ban. I can understand how it would look like "recruiting" but honestly, Goose isn't fucking stupid. Why would he purposely try to recruit someone on your server if he knew this would happen? And he doesn't hide under names.. He changes his name all the time for the damn lulz. iJamar to fuck with iJamal, and z33la's lover to fuck with me, and other names just because he wants to and because he CAN. It's just something he does.
Goose is a good person and has been playing in DoGz for quite some time. I think this was taken way overboard and he definitely shouldn't have been perm banned. Let alone banned.
Honestly, I think you should rethink keeping him banned. He's a fun person to play with, DOESN'T RECRUIT, and didn't deserve this.

With all due respect, that's pathetic, i disagree with that rule. Having to ban someone just for inviting another player into a clan/group just to tag. It's not like we're going to recruit them into playing a different server. I am speaking in general not just FsU. DOGz has great amounts of players that connect everyday, and it also has a good rating, are you not satisfied with that? I've seen racism in the server, porn sprays, and player disrespect (And i still see these things without players being banned), which in this case is worst than recruiting. You guys (Admins) are making a big deal about players joining clan/groups while their in your server, just to tag.
Suckline's group leader "Resource" was banned for supposedly "Recruiting". Resource just wanted to make a group in which professional players would all get together and tag the same tag, in this case ---Suckline---. I see no problem to this, Resource never recruited them into another server or anything. I think you guys are being unfair to players. I'd guarantee you most players will agree with me. Good day. |
