Missing Maps on fastdl servers

I keep getting missing map errors when certain maps roll through! All maps that I have played before! I usually switch over to the funtimes server, then it started happening over there too! WHERE ARE MAH MAPS!?  |

delete them from your maps in your css folder and let the map redownload.

Well I searched in my maps folders and i couldnt find the one that it said it was missing to delete =( Any other suggestions? |

The one from the other day was Mini house, the one from just now was Unity
and just now on the other funtimes server, blue funtimes!
i dont know what to do! |

The maps are definatley there. Make sure cl_allowdownload is set to 1 in console.

oh i dont doubt they are there, becasue i can see the player list and server info and people playin em! but next time i hop on ill try the console thing!

You need to delete..... all .....the maps in that folder as he said. It is a glitch I have had in the past as well. Its not just about the one map, its an isssue with the folder in general

Ive googled it and still nothing, i guess ill try to uninstall and reinstall! It just sucks that today is my last day off and i cant even kill people =( |

Have you tried connecting to other servers? Are you able to download maps from them?

I did try a dust 2 server after a reinstall and it worked, before the reinstall I don't think I tried it!I was able to manually download the map the server was on and it played! But I don't want to manually find every map on the server! |

ok i just tried a different server, and it wouldnt download the map! I tried a server with a stock map like dust 2 and aztec and it worked. So for some reason or another it wont download maps anymore, i tried the internet explorer as default browser and it too did not change anything! |

i did that, and still no luck, at first try, it looks like it starts to download the map and then it doesnt finish. somewhere i read that you can type in retry in the console and it will work. that too does not work =( i just wanna kill stuff! |
