I won a couple of games in a row and he suggested I was playing like a dbag (his word) in a game because I was shooting the opposition at their spawn site. Lots and lots of players do it, including Blubber. I've been a victim of it many a time by the likes of Timber, HappyPanda, and Blubber himself. I didn't abuse him in any way, I just started questioning why it was okay for him to do it, but not me. He said something I couldn't interpret and then suggested I "Keep it up, see what happens". He also brought up a game we played last night (3-players) where I called him out for being mean to another player. He suggested we were playing dirty and I asked him why he thought that (no killswitching, no shoot knifing, no hacks, nothing), but he didn't give me an explanation.
I know I have a tendency to swear lot, can get quite fractious and be an asshole when people start in on me, but in this instance I did not abuse Blubber in any way, which you can see from the game transcripts. I just played the game and he seemed to get upset about how I was playing. There was nothing dirty about my gameplay. I did not shoot knife, I did not leave and come back in so I could save myself on knife, I did not killswitch (don't know how), or hack (again, don't know how). He just took issue with me blasting people at spawn, which is not against the rules and which he also did (and has done). I get spawn-blasted all the time - I hate it, but that's part of the game.
I'm assuming the ban is because he didn't like the continual questioning and probing and I'm sure to him it was annoying, but when someone accuses me of playing "like a dbag", I take issue with it and am entitled to know why they think that. I don't believe threats ("Keep it up, see what happens") is perhaps the most appropriate professional manner in which to talk with someone.
Why I should be unbanned: I think maybe I should cool off for a few days before being unbanned, but I enjoy the servers, I interact on a daily basis with many players I consider friends (yo-yo, ShesGotagun, Skunk2, Angry, 420Necro). I'd like to continue playing and I will certainly make more of an effort to not question authority in the future.
