CS:GO 9/15/2015 update -- warning connection problem

edit: it's working now

It's been about an hour since the server (CS:GO DM) went down for updates and it's been showing 0 players ever since. When I try to connect, after I choose a team it says

Warning: connection problem
Server disconnect xx

And then I disconnect when it times out.

Also, follow up question. Did the CS:GO DM server drop the starting USP (and ending? I made it the end a couple times but wasn't paying attention)? I could swear it used to start at USP, but playing today it started with p2000.
