VAC banned player on secure server?

Newbie Posts: 3 Joined: 13/07/2014 22:42	Was playing on CS:S DM Turbo server and see this guy http://gameme.dog...nfo/637156 doing stupidly well, so I spec him for a few minutes. Lo and behold he's using something, but leaves before I can get a demo. I look him up on steam and he's VAC banned, but the server is marked as VAC secure. So what gives?

Veteran Member Posts: 929 Joined: 24/11/2009 23:54	The vac ban can be for any game he's played on steam and was caught cheating on, doesn't mean he was or is cheating in CSS. We'll need a demo to verify he's hacking. The stats don't seem anything to "prove" he's hacking. They really aren't that high. Don't touch me there.
