how to lock on to a player when demoing.
TheYosh
I'm just curious on how you can lock on to a particular player when you are demoing a cheat. I've already came across 2 cheats that I tried demoing but with a full server it is pretty frustrating to do with all the crazy action that usually goes on in a DM server. Any tips on how to do this would be really appreciated, thanks!

Hey Yosh.. I had the same frustrations as you.. it's bloody annoying trying to stick with one person. Luckily, the console commands to do so are now public commands.. they are are sm_observe "player name" and sm_endobserve. See ya in game!

I dont know if this might a little difficult or not, but I was wondering if tigerox would be kind enough to put a small script so that when a player types " !spectate <player name>" in the chat, it locks on the spec camera to it while keeping the chat message from showing in-game. This would be really helpful on the deathmatch server.

Just throwing out an idea, but there is nothing wrong with using what Johnnie mentioned earlier.Smile
