Why is it that when I shoot somebody point blank in the face with any type of gun (besides the Awp), I do the weakest damage possible? And last night, I stuck somebody in the head twice with a grenade, and it didn't even blow up.

The grenade glitch is probably from the sticky nades mod. It used to be quite common, but I think the recent update may have b0rked it...

Registry differs between players. Just because someone is on your screen or you're around the corner, doesn't mean that's how it is on someone else's screen. Registry is unpredictable and varies tremendously. The grenades do that from time to time, and I don't think it's anything anyone can really fix.

I have more so a problem with knifing people in the back, Alot of the time it doesnt register so I have to knife the person twice when a back shot should kill em  woe is me

The default configuration for CS:GO ArmsRace (GG DM) doesn't have grenade and left clicking (slash instead of stab) with the knife is the new backstab. Makes GG much more about the weapons and the race to the end instead of spending so damn long on grenades and bad registry backstabs. I love it.
It's still possible to get stuck on knife for a long time but using the much faster (and longer) slash to get an instant kill backstab is much better. |

i actually had a nade bounce from a ct mask today lol. check your latencies across the board: network obviously, then monitor (esp DLP tv), wireless mouse, etc.. i usually hang around 60-80ms total, anything over 150ms stupid things start to happen, some notice it at 100ms.

BS aside registry became an issue about 2 years back when one of the great nerf updates came around. There has always been instances crap registry at times but only became a huge issue like i said about 2-3 years ago and hasnt really made any improvement since.(Thats what happens when people stop focusing on improving a great game and wanna fill their pockets so they bundle up acouple of games and call it orange box and spend almost no time working out the bugs it brought, and when they said hey i think its a good idea to update so mac users can play as well.... the 2 updates that almost destroyed CS) A few peoples greed got the best of them and now you have people that can crouch and hs mid spray with any gun . Its sad but nothing that cant allow you to still enjoy the game.
common issues ive seen: getting stuck on someones head (happens all the time)
grenades dissaprearing (ehh happens on and off)
registry is worse than usual (not that it wasnt crap already)
Hopefully it will be patched sooner than later by a dev
