I noticed that the sub heading of this forum is "believe you were wrongfully banned? appeal it here".
Well, I don't think I was wrongfully banned; I sometimes randomly type things in chat during games (I get pretty jumpy and fired up during gungame!) and somethings I said definitely crossed the line. I admit that one player had asked me to stop, although I don't think he was an admin. I do deserve to be banned. I'm not making excuses- although I will say that whenever a server administrator asks me to remember the rules, I always comply.
I really did enjoy playing on your servers and interacting with your community though. It seems you guys run a tight ship and and so I wouldn't be surprised if you don't welcome me back. I suppose that's how things have to run typically if you want to keep a community like this upstanding one going. Despite this I would like to ask if I can be allowed to rejoin the community on the condition that this be taken as a warning and I behave 100% of the time from this point.
I'm not really an asshole or a racist or anything like that...and I don't have typing turrets...though it might seem like I do, I can keep it under control. I just get fired up and occasionally use some of the worst language I know in chat to express myself without thinking of how it might offend others. In the past no ones said anything!
I'm a good person and I enjoyed playing with everyone I met here so far- It's nice to see familiar names in a server. I would like to be a member of the community again and be given the chance to act like an adult. I hope you gents will reconsider and give me a chance to prove I belong in this community.
Edit: I understand that racism is not tolerated by looking at the other posts in this forum. I wish I had come in here first to see how seriously you guys take it- again I'm not a racist person, I just used a foul word. Others in the server were using the same language I was- I don't want to make an excuse but it's why I used the word I did- didn't realize how seriously it was taken. But you guys are right, it should be taken seriously. I really do hope you'll consider giving me another shot- I will act like an adult and I'd love to get back to shooting people in the face in your server
Awww, well that was as heartfelt of a ban appeal if I've ever seen one. Or perhaps I'm just too sappy?
