Error loading map
Dark Harbinger
I keep getting an error on the unity map

"Couldn't CRC map maps/gg_unity.bsp, disconnecting"

I went into my maps file and deleted it thinking it would download again but when I joined the server it started and gave the error again.

Anyone have any insight into this error?

1) check your cl_allowdownload, it should be set to 1
2) make sure you have internet explorer installed on your computer (css runs its downloads through IE)
3) try manually installing the map

Thanks for the quick reply...

cl_allowdownload is set to 1

I have IE on my computer.

Where can I get the map from to install it manually?

Thanks again for your help Sniper.

Normally, just google the map name and you can find it online. Here is a link to download for the map: http://www.gameba...aps/142468

Ok so I downloaded both the files from where TigerOx posted and put them in my cstrike/maps folder and I still get the error. Maybe I'll try verifying and defraging my game files.

Ok I downloaded both versions of the map from both Tiger's and Sniper's link. I tried each one after deleting the existing file, I still get the same error, and it's only on that map, this is making me crazy...ier. Last ditch idea would be to delete all local content and try and reload CSS. I might have fouled something up when I copied my Steam folder before I set up my SSDs in RAID. But I have verified and deferagged the files so I'm at a loss. On a high note my computer is retarded fast now lol. Thanks Sniper and Tiger for your help, I bookmarked the links so I would have them if I ever need them.
