What do you think on this updates that steam does all the time on CS Source.
I personally think that those updates are junk and ruining the game completely |

Sometimes they get it wrong but there are times they do make it better, I think what most of us don't see is that they do fix a lot of stability issues especially with new machines with high end hardware and new OS's that come out time to time.
I'm just glad that Steam still cares about CS:S enough to keep updating it.

Here's the rub, and there's really no way around it. They dial it all in, get it working without glitches, then they fix what already works! THAT is the issue. The only reason they keep updating it is they are still trying to get the cow to produce milk, even though it's just about tapped out. This whole thing about changing the way the whole thing works so Mac's could run CS.... common! Really? They were just out for an extra buck. IF they really cared, they would just bring out a NEW CS all together. THAT I would like to see and I would be one of the first in line.

i agree with scooby...dont fix what aint broke. they should have made a new cs and left this one alone...and how can they not have fixed the disappearing guns yet???
i am getting used to this new update but i must have ranted like 100 times over this |

You know, bob's right. They SHOULD have made a new CS instead of tampering with this one. If they wanted to try things like adding that kill cam thing like TF2, put it in a new game.
I discovered a bit ago that there is this game simply called "A.V.A' it's identical to counterstrike except it has Modern Warfare 2-ish graphics. Come on, Valve and Steam... get it together.

well there is a rumor that they will release counter strike 2 in july. I hope its true its time for a new cs |
