Maybe I'm missing something but I was looking for either a section of the webpage or a thread on the forum with some information about the clan. Information such as when it was created, who created it, why it was created and so on.
If I missed it I'll take the abuse lol; if not I think that could be a good addition to the webpage for people such as myself who are curious about the clan history.

Ok the Dogz community was created in 1439 somewhere in a truly spectacular field in the middle of the welsh countryside. It was formed as an outlet for sporting gentlemen to escape their rather ugly wenches of wives for a few hours. It was and remains to be a BYOB community because historically there has always been a lush who would've clearly taken advantage of any type of open bar situation certainly resulting in death of said lush if allowed to partake in such an event.(current generation being a tie between Mikaa & Steal your face) Originally our brotherhood was not for video games but for real mens sporting events such as red rover. However as time and technology advanced we began to get lazier and switched to games such as jacks and hot potato and the progression continued until we ended up where we are now. We no longer leave our homes to drink or compete. Instead we band together online between visits to websites of ill repute and enjoy each other with semi homo erotic banter and playful use of words that are often reserved for turkish prisons. I'd go so far as to say that dogz is more of a fraternity than anything. There's lots of hazing, alcohol, brotherly love, things to do and when a girl walks in everyone hits on her.

DoGz History
The clan was started by me about 5 years ago. It was built up initially by me and my first recruit was Shaggy, my oldest son. We eventually brought on more members and were frequent players on the Dagger clan servers. We went online officially in early summer 2007 thanks entirely to Corex and with some technical assistance from Dagger clan members. He established our webpage and servers. In late summer 2008 I brought Tiger Ox on to take over IT for the clan due to Corex having to step aside for a bit and me knowing just enough about the operations of all this to be dangerous. He has been our "Running Man" ever since. As for the clan, we are a clan. I think of us more along the lines of a family. While we all have our own lives, which takes us away from the game or group for a bit here and there, all are always welcome to return when they are ready without the worry of not being part of the "group" anymore.
I enjoy our family here and welcome all players all we have ever asked is that the rules be obeyed. The rules are meant for members and visitors as well.

Thanks Scooby! I'm impressed with the community and servers you guys run so I was curious. I hope the DoGz community sticks around for a long time. It's tough finding a good CSS community anymore.
Pretzel I was fricken rolling when I read your post dude. I'm down for a game of jacks or hot potato if you ever want lol.

It always amazes me how far we've come and what a great group of guys we have in this clan. I've never seen a better group out there. There are many imitators out there but none compare to the DoGz...... This is true! You all rock!!!!! |
