I got Fitness Religion last February and I have stuck to it pretty well religiously since. I started with the P90X program by Tony Horton (You should recognize this name shaggy seeing as he is a fitness celeb from Cali). Now I do my own work out reg. And Babs 12oz curls?? Is that pop or a beer?? ahahahaha

I don't take protein, I used to though it will definitely help if you want gain muscle mass. I know a natural body builder and he basically takes a gram of protein per lb of body weight every day and he does those contests. Of course there's an easier faster solution just Google anabolic steroid or HGH retailers!!

I my self follow a healthy diet (with cheats now and then). I do subscribe to the 1 to 1.5g of protein to 1lb of body mass theory and I do use whey protein Isolate incorporated into my daily food intake. I currently consume about 195 to 200g of protein in my diet. Diet is very important if you want to get nice definition otherwise you may put on muscle but you will not see it under the fat. As for P90X it does work I did 2 rounds last year starting in Feb and went from 270lbs to 200lbs, I currently am sitting at 205 to 210lbs cause my diet suffered a bit when my son was born a couple weeks back. If you are looking to bulk up muscle wise remember the average person will only gain 5lbs of muscle a year (10lbs if your one of the lucky genetic freaks). A good site to visit that is free is http://scoobyswor... this guy does natural body building competitions and a lot of what he says is echoed in a lot of the pay programs including P90X. I still believe that free weights = the best work out and seems to be reinforced by many sources I have read as FW not only work out your main muscles but also the smaller stabilizing muscles require to help keep you injury free. If your currious about heathy low cost eating examples I could up load some of the diets I have and still use based on different calorie requirements. Also do not forget you need to mix your workout up so that your muscles do not platue. Anyway I am rambling, let me know if you have more questions I might even post some pics to show my progress to date. Maybe......Ahahahaha

I do not work out beyond walking around campus (approx. 30 minutes on tuesdays and thursdays, and approx. 1 hr on mondays wednesdays and fridays). However I look forward to the new fitness center they've been building since summer last year, it'll have a rock wall, a lot of exercise equipment, and a gym.
I also try to stick to a low calorie diet because I don't exercise much, so far I've only had about 320 calories today with one meal to go, plus maybe a snack to finnish at around 1000-1500, depending on whats for din din
I also make sure that the snacks I do have are high in fiber to curb my appetite and help me get through class without a gurgly tummy I especially love the 100 calorie bags of popcorn. I probably have one once a week xD

High protein and low carb diets are good to kick start your metabolism but its not meant to be a long term thing, normally you would only do this for 30days or less then start balancing over to protien=carb ration and finally a high carb lower protien ratio as carbs (good carbs not chocolate bars and chips type carbs) is what fuels your body for activity. Your body cannot use protein to produce energy it only uses it to repair muscle damage, High protien low carb diets are good at making your body burn up the fat stored in your body as it does not have enough carbs to keep it going. Good carbs are like Natural gas and Fat is like Coal your body will burn both but it will go to the higher efficiency cleaner burning "Natural Gas" before it will try to burn the "Coal". Shaggy let me know what version of Excel you have and I will upload and link you to the diets I use.

Sorry Shaggy I havent forgot about you. I just cant get my stupid scanner to work on Window 7 64bit!! DAMN CANON they wont release a 64bit driver for my scanner. Oh well might be time to get a new one. On a side note... You still did not tell me what version of Excel you are running, I need to know to give you some of my diet spread sheets for an example for what I eat.
