well i have scrapped the idea of having my own server (temporarily anyway) i am on a new hack (not the malicious kind) i am soon moving home to seattle and uppon arrival i will be attending the GSLUG and get my machine overhawled with the help of the 1337 folk there in my meanderings i have found an OS Benchmarking paige pitting linux to vista and win7 the results are not shocking at all look at it its really interesting http://www.tuxrad...om/node/33 i have been obsesed with opensource OS's since i first started screwing with computers and learned that there was a bigger universe out there outside the win/mac constraints and if your a win user and find your self in a best buy or fry's and start messing with the GU of a mac you can expect to be baffled but not for long you will catch on if you have it everday same goes for opensource its strange at first you know i get an overall avrage of 60 FPS in CS:s and i asked posted on ubuntu forums and was answered buy the community that i can (with wine instaled) can expect an easy default of 1000FPS!!!!! this does not seem possible but what the hell right? if this dont work its cool i am already shopping for a linux dedicated laptop rather than using this old piece of shit forever believe it or not there is such a thing i was asked by a visitor to our server just that where do i get a linux computer and further more does anybody make linux laptops? i say yes! http://www.linuxc...ptops.html
