Very Sad News from Clan {AH}

For those of you who've played on the Dogz servers, whether GunGame, Deathmatch, or even the Match Server I have some tragic news.
Friends and opponents alike will recognize the name {AH} pothed. He took great pride in rising through the ranks alongside fellow clanmembers to the heights of the top 5 of the server. He did so over two server resets, and it's no stretch to say that he was perhaps the best {AH} had to offer.
Often accused of hacking by jealous competition, he was the genuine article. On several occasions he was invited to join forces with DoGz members in scrimmages, and felt truly honoured to fight alongside you good people. In all he was a brilliant competitor, and a beloved friend.
{AH} pothed, Mat or Matty to his closest friends, died on March 8th 2009 in a tragic car accident in Peterborough, Ontario. He was driving on a particularly winding road, hit a patch of black ice, lost control, and hit a tree. He was 24 years old, far too young to find eternity.
As I write this, I can't help but shed a few tears. I knew Mat for almost my entire life, and to carry my good friend's casket and place it into the awaiting hearse was both an honour and a profound sadness for me.
Few may know, but a fellow {AH} member {AH} Hatebreeder was in fact {AH} pothed's twin brother. The sadness of Mat's death has been hardest for him above all.
{AH} may be seldom seen these days, our members being busy with various demands in life, the least of which this tragedy, but I have taken to playing once again... perhaps to find in the sport of GunGame a piece of {AH} pothed that lingers in spirit. I look forward to playing with each and every one of you again, and hope that you remember Mat, {AH} pothed, with the same fondness that I do. |

Words cannot describe a loss like this.
{AH} pothed was a great guy. I talked to him on a few occasions but many of our members know him well.
Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
It was an honor having him play with us here at DoGz during these past few months.
Thanks Kensei-sama for letting us know. You put it very well when you said, "He was 24 years old, far too young to find eternity."

My condolences to you and pothed's family. Thank you for letting us know. It is a loss when anyone dies, and having lost an older brother myself, I know the road back for the ones that loved him will be long. To that end, you and your clan are always welcome to play here, and if you ever need anything, please let me know.

Holy sweet Jesus, this was definitely something I'd rather come home sober to. Far too terrible for words. My personal condolences go out to his friends and family, as I REALLY enjoyed the guy's company.

Man.... No words to explain the thoughts and feelings going through my head. He was a good friend and great person. He will, truly, be missed. My prayers and condolences to his friends and family. |

This is truly a great loss. I have played with pothead on numerous occasions, and have seen his potential. My deepest sincereness goes out to him family and friends.

I did not know pothed personally, but it's a shame when anyone dies that young. My sincerest wishes to pothed's friends and family. |

my condolences i gave pothead a hard time when we played but he was a cool cat and i enjoyed fraggin with him, he will be missed but not forgotten.
