Saw this band last night at a place here in Charleston. They are pretty sick. They are kinda rock but have some pretty exotic instruments involved. Thought some people might enjoy them. Here is their website. www.toubabkrewe.com/
Not bad, not bad. They do seem to have a lot of cool instruments.
But I'd have to say my favorite instrumental track would be from MuteMath: http://www.youtub...Qxleg-5UCs. I got to see them right before they started to get big. Those guys were absolutely amazing. I can only describe the experience as organized musical mayhem. The funny thing is, I had heard this song, and I always thought they were using a drum machine throughout. Then I saw them do it in person and I was like, 'Holy crap! He's actually playing real drums like that!'. Then of course there's the infamous AxeSynth (aka 'The Atari - seen right around 4:00).
