Laser Dot for Scout

I was on fpsbannana and was looking at skins.
One skin said it was a Laser dot for on the Scout.
Is this cheating and will it cause a ban ?
Their was discussion that it wasn't a cheat because it is a skin.
I thought I would ask here. |

Any altered skin is considered to be a cheat in CAL, TWL and GGW. For pubing purposes VAC will not ban you for their use.

Except that in CAL, TWL and GGW you are required to run a demo while you play in a match and if your demo and screen shots are called in and reviewed it can lead to disqualification for your team.

The dot is a no scope hack used by players who think it's ok... it's not... it's a hack... plain and simple. |

I played in a TWL match once, while i was with Independent Gamers, and one of my team mates was using a scout with a laser. His screen shots were reviewed and we got disqualified.
Later we found out that the other team was ghosting with some virtual computer thingy, so they also were disqualified. Unfortunately we could not continue the season because of that indecent.

Just use the old fashioned water color marker, place a dot on your screen while in scope zoom, your all set
