Nice guys. Keep maintaining your computers. Clean the dust from the fans, filters, and heatsinks every 6 months.
Don't smoke near a PC. You should see inside a smokers pc. I actually threw out a case that was so bad.
Oh and yeah, stay away from shady links in emails and on websites.
I also don't recommend Avast or Avira anymore. I came across many many issues with those programs.
Have a great week.

hey terrowrist, have you heard much about the new intel cpus coming out? the new Broadwell chipset?
I feel like getting a new GPU to help with gaming but also to help with rendering and such (even though unless its specifically a GPU renderer, it uses the cpu) but i cant get a newer CPU with my current mobo...would require a new everything
I'm debating going for a new rig completely, looking at the i7-4790 and a 4gb gtx geforce 770 (possibly going for a newer card, but i dunno yet)
possibly newer ram as well just to even things out....anyways this is a build that i would probably want:
http://pcpartpick...m/p/3wf9RB
i also may not get the new case, as my current case (another cooler master...nice big sucker with lots of fans....designed for water cooling but i dont wanna deal with that XD) is still working fine.
If the Broadwell chips are better, then i may just hold off a while longer to get a broadwell chip.

yeah I imagine it will be a super improvement over my current i7 950, but Intel has the new chipset coming out...which are supposedly up to 40% faster/better...
so its a toss up of waiting.
for the renderings and stuff i do, i best bang for the buck in power is what i need XD

Maybe I'll post specs when I'm not lazy, and yes, I'm a left handed gamer.

Thanks guys. Yea I recommend ibuypower over any other company. I custom built mine and only spent around 800-1000 bucks. I got a Asus gaming monitor which ran around 350-400 bucks.

Yea I wish I went with a BenQ, the Asus is nothing special. I also use a Zowie mousepad and Zowie AM ambidextrous mouse. Reminds me of the old school microsoft optical mouses. Small and fits in the palm of my hand just perfect. I prefer Zowie over Razor or Logitech.

I agree with the gpu, because that always gets outdated. Check amazon or newegg on the latest card prices and get it when its on sale. I would use http://slickdeals...acker-free and also keep checking slickdeals for update on prices.
As far as the Power supply is concern, get seasonic 650watts to 1200w. That way if you upgrade your parts, you dont need to worry about upgrading the power supply. Also get a Modular power supply, so incase you do upgrade, you can always order longer cables, or sometimes you may need to switch out a cable due to incompatibility reasons.
i will never get any other power supply brand, not that i had any issues, but seasonic uses very expensive and high quality capacitors.
