I once thought that epics like Star Wars, The Matrix, or Lord of the Rings were my favourites, but I've always been an anime lover at heart, and the one that comprises elements of those three best is "Princess Mononoke" from Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki.
It was my litmus test for whether or not a prospective girlfriend and I were cinematically compatible... Luckily my girlfriend passed with flying colours

Comedy...i'd say either Beerfest or Super Troopers....Horror pretty much anything George A. Romero did...Night, Day, Dawn of the dead..but no the remakes the old shit is the best

fair enough and kensei I agree. Everyone is always saying how the superpowered movies (star wars matrix Lotr) are the best movies. They are good dont get me wrong, I just always feel that the movies that stand out alone without a series are better |

Tron:Legacy.... my Son and I bonded over that movie ....but really, I would have to break it down by time periods...it gets complicated...like when I was layed up in that momo with this chicka named Sara. I never knew how good Gone with the Wind really is...fack..!!

The Godfather 1 and 2 is probably my most favorite. Followed by Brazil, Dr. Strangelove and One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest. I admit I've never seen Citizen Kane. |
