I am depressed....I was going to buy a Prius because I heard they accelerate by themselves allowing you to concentrate on driving, Now I see they just shut down to easy taking all the excitement and fun out of driving them.  |

Nothing racist came out of that conversation. Its a FACT that most of the communist countries in the world are asian, and that mexicans coming into the United States puts a big strain on America's economy, and the employment of many americans.

I have the throw my 2 cents in as well.
Cell, toyota, honda and all those other rice burners might create jobs in america but at what wage? Sure, there are extreme examples of how unions have run up the hourly wages but Toyota and Honda have driven down the national average enough that working at McDonalds is almost as rewarding as working at one of their factories. If you don't mind America turning into one big service industry, keep buying those foreign cars.
Eventually the new American motto will be "You want fries with that?" |

Um....If I remember correctly.....the average pay for a worker at a toyota factory is around $55 per hour, plus benefits. I dont know what kind of McDonalds you live around if they can reward their workers that nicely. Maby I misunderstood what you were trying to say, idk.
Fords, chevys, GM...nearly all their parts are made out of the country in China, Canada or Mexico...Hell, most of them arent even assembled in the US.
Buying "american made" isnt what it used to be. There are hardly any fully American companies anymore. No matter what you buy, or who you buy it from...you are supporting a foreign country.
