First, lemme just say that... the way was hazy for me, the first time. I didn't do the cooking by the book, and thus ended up with a very un-pretty cake. So much so did I mess up, that the first cake I made is actually being used as dog treats.
Soo here is the second (much more successful) cake!
And yes, that's home made whip cream topping

The cake is already gone, and I posted this right after I got done decorating it and taking the pic. o_o;
Also, don't make me whip out some fondant and make all your nub cakes look bad. I was being lazy with this cake.

You have to do the cooking by the book, you know you cant be lazy!! Ahahahahahaha. Besides everyone knows whip cream (if made from scratch not that oil by product cool whip) will hold it will turn back to a liquid and your cake will get soggy

You are a failure pin.....im sorry. Whipped cream (sugar, vanilla and cream) is simply air bubbles...those bubbles slowly pop over time which causes your whipped cream to deflate. The cream is simply not "thick" enough for the bubbles to stay intact. now...you could of course get around that by adding egg whites or something, but thats a meringue and not whipped cream AND EVEN THAT STILL DEFLATES OVER TIME! |

No, okay? You are the failure. First of all- only whipped cream that comes in a pressurized can will quickly loose it's fluffy ness. Cream that has over 30% fat in it will whip up and stay nice and fluffy for a while- especially if you keep it in the fridge. Infact, cream that's over whipped becomes BUTTER. Now, according to your logic, since butter is just air whipped into cream, it will turn back into liquid, too. Oh, no wait, that's only if you don't keep it refrigerated like I said D<
