I think it would be a good idea if DoGz had a V.O.i.P server of some sort so that members of DoGz can talk to each other without being in game.
This could also be available for people that want to come on and talk to the Members of DoGz and come on if they are just playing and want to talk on the V.O.I.P server instead of in-game. |

V.O.I.P doesn't just refer to ventrilo.
Many more like teamspeak mumble etc...
I own many ventrilo servers myself and teamspeak. |

yeah! mumble is very good for online games.
I have not had that much experience with mumble except for 1 game i was a developer for.
But, mumble is very good and I can easily get a server. I'm not sure how much space we would need but i could easily get it.
I don't know how much i am really involved with DoGz still considering i haven't played for over a year or two. But, i can still contribute. |

I was looking at my servers, i have a 35 slot server i could possibly use for the mumble and it's not in use right now by anyone. Its a possibility. |

We can run a mumble server on our dedicated box.
Could be a good option but I don't think a lot of people know about mumble. |

Well TigerOx, I agree mumble is less common and mostly no one knows about it.
I say you should start off with a small server and then when more people start to join and it gets more active we can just expand it.
If, you don't have room on the dedicated or don't want to cause lag on the servers, just let me know and i will be happy to get one for the server. |

I know about the ventrilo... but I'm talking about for a V.O.I.P for people that play on any dogz server and or want to talk to the dogz members.
