Looking for a good desktop

Well since I just graduated and got my diploma etc etc, I recently obtained some cash. Welp, I'm finally saying I'm done with my cruddy laptop and I'm currently looking for a decent at least gaming desktop. The only thing is Gotta be $700 max :l. That's probably not enough but if anyone has any suggestions for a decent gaming pc within this price range I'd love to hear it! I'm serious novice when it comes to desktops so I'm not great at understanding specs or differentiating in what's better etc. Any and all help is much appreciated

Integrated video card is terrible. Majority of games will fail to load.
I will take a look at the custom parts you chose on that site, and compare them on newegg/tigerdirect and let you know.
I will also get you a list of parts (in that price range you requested) and you can have a look at it and everyone else can agree together.
I do not like these type of sites. Self research and self builds are far more cheaper and you know what your doing since you build the machine yourself.

I bought my gaming computer from that website...only because i had no one to help me build mine at the time. The computer runs really smoothly, but you have to think about the shipping cost of your PC as well. It will cost you about 100 dollars more just to have it sent to you. The only complaints I have is that I didn't receive my computer for TWO months (their building/testing period takes forever), and i'm not the only one. also, my computer case is a little glitchy with certain plugs in the front and a few in the back, but I figured it wasn't worth sending it back so they could hold on to the desktop for another 2 months.
If you don't have any experience with building computers and all the components, it's a great website. But if you have friends who could help you build it or build it for you, it will end up being much cheaper.

Much appreciated then. I have two friends that could help me, one off doing marching for the summer but I could probably have him help me get a legit rig going. |

Honestly, I can go down to Frys and build my own machine for soOoooo much cheaper custom box, board, cooling system ... whole thing. I can't imagine you don't have a computer store somewhere around you that you could check out and build something really cool.
Additionally, onboard graphics aren't what they used to be, especially when it comes to ATI/AMD configurations. You can run the on board graphics and add an additional graphics card to really blow it through the wall. Do your research... don't rush in... take your time and build something you want and that is high end on the processor side and has good expandable ram options so it will allow you run the PC without the need for upgrades for a few years. Shop the sales. It's ok if it takes months to build it if your working on a budget. It allows you to shop the best deals and really put something quality together.

FWIW, I can attest to the AMD APU's and the intel 3000 integrated graphics can both play cs:s, cs:go, and starcraft 2. It ain't pretty but it works. I built a budget gaming rig for my buddy for about 450$, just to get started since he couldn't afford a video card, and it ran fine until then.

Sorry forgot to mention a long time ago but finally got my computer built! So much better than a prebuilt store one and i also got my internet upgraded  So next time people see me in game no more lagging around  |
