I was banned in October of 2011 by the console for detection of an aimbot.
Technically, the ban was correct. However, I did enjoy your servers and thought I would send you an explanation. I will understand completely if you choose to keep the ban in place.
I had been using the hack on my local server to help me try and determine why I seemed to be missing most of my shots. Crazy as it sounds, it did help.
Normally, I would reload the game without the hack before proceeding to a regular server. On this occasion, I merely toggled the features off, meaning that the hack was still in place but I was not actively using it.
In any case the hack was detected and I was banned. I chose not to appeal because I thought the ban was reasonable under the server rules.
Since then I have been playing gungame on other servers (mostly gcgaming.net) with no problems. I am requesting the ban be removed but will understand completely if you keep it in place.....Thanks

Usually we don't lift bans for hacking so one of the higher ups will have to get back to you on it, thankyou for the appeal and they'll get to you when possible |

It has always been our policy to have a zero tolerance rule for hacking. With this said, while we do appreciate your honesty and sincerity in your unban request, we will have to keep the ban in place.
Unfortunately if we allow you back, it opens the doors for others as well.
Terribly sorry that we can't do more.
Happy gaming!

I understand. I knew removing the ban would put you in an awkward position but I figured "Nothing ventured, nothing gained.".
In a way, I'm kinda glad this was the decision. As much as I would have liked to return to your servers, the decision maintains the integrity of your process, not an unimportant thing.
Thanks for your consideration of the request. |

Like Steal Your Face said, the ban will not be lifted but I did want to point out that you were not totally honest.
The hack detect is based on angle snapping of your cursor, this proves the hack was actively being used at the time of ban. |

Well, that's how I remember it. In the end it doesn't really matter because it was my mistake for even having the hack loaded. Good Luck to you guys. |
