I'm running a five year old razer deathadder personally, best 60$ i ever spent! I don't know if i'd blow 200 on a mouse though, or anything over 80 really...

Imo not really. I've used expensive mouses and a 5$ mouse from wallmart. Never really seen a significant difference. Good headsets make a difference tho. Seeing as how you can easily tell the direction someone is coming from vs. someone that is only using speakers and can only hear the very basics. Like tits said as long as you have 3 buttons and a mouse wheel you should be good. Other than that the game engine for cs at least is screwed so i dont think it makes that big a difference for all those who stick primarily to css.
current setup: crappy old hp, 5$ mouse, crappy monitor, and a onboard graphics card. lmao... and i still manage.
At times my fps wont go above 20. The biggest difference between you and anyone else will always be the way you think. I hope this helps.

i love the 5 dollar walmart mice... i used one for about a year when i played on my shitty dell laptop. you gotta make due with what you got.. all i know is practice makes perfect. no matter the mouse, the mousepad, etc... but yes, headsets make a huge difference! xD

My cheap microsoft mouse died on a trip out of country where I was hoping to get some LAN time
Ended up buying a Razer DeathAdder on a splurge at Wal-Mart quick because all of the cheapies just looked to cheap or horrible design. So far I'm digging it after I disabled all of the excessive lights lol

Razer anything give me buyers remorse. As soon as I get to use any of their products I get this horrible feeling like a 5 year old playing with a knock off toy after you tell them it's a knock off. It's this dirty sad feeling....

Logitech g500 greatest mouse in the world.
I only say the 500 because it has a braided cord for extra strength and durability weights to go with it and easy quick programable side buttons |

I run an old style G5 mouse and although it took me a little time to get use to it and get it setup right on their program, I love it. Especially being able to change the weight. I have a back injury that leads me to have random muscle spasms/twitches at times and the extra weight really helps compared to a mouse that weighs no more than it's plastic housing. Once you can figure and learn how to utilize the software for the mouse and program it and get use to it, it helps out a lot in my opinion. I also run a G510 keyboard and I'm gonna say the same exact thing, once you learn the software, set it up the way you want and get use to it, it's awsome. I was in the same boat about spending so much on a mouse and a key board and was really second guessing myself for a few months after the purchases, but in the long run, they were completely worth it! Hope this helps.

*EDIT NOTE* I've been using my g5 for over 4 years now, still works perfectly. The g500 key board is only about 3 months old but I'm digging it so far. |

Ive got a 5 button mouse. i was perfectly fine with 3 buttons, but the wireless that came with the pc drove me crazy. i use a wired 5 button microsoft. only got one with extra buttons to make in game chat easier. i cant stand open mic so the extra button makes chat convenient. i can shoot and talk at the same time.
