I insisted on calling her older brother by his full name. I said "I named him Gabriel and that's what I'll call him. I don't care if other people want to call him Gabe or whatever if they want". He threw us for a loop earlier this year when he told us that he wants to go by his middle name. That was a hard transition after 10+ years of his first name.
About my nick. I was on a harvest crew when I was a teenager and everyone took to calling me by my last name (it's a long German name that people butcher). Another kid from another crew we were working with tried to call me over the radio. "Hey Schr...Shmo..Stroganoff!!!" Everyone else that heard it over the radio thought it was hilarious and shortened it to Strog (str-Oh-g though most use the short O that don't know where it came from). I've been Strog for 20 years now.

My coworker sent a text message with the lyrics to the theme with smilieys last night. I played it on youtube while my wife read it. We looked over and my 4 year old daughter was rocking out to it. She asked for another and I clicked on MC Hammer You can't touch this in the sidebar. She was doing all the moves from the video.
oh shit ....lol I jammed out to that theme song....if you watch TBS in the mornings around 6 or 7am....that show is still on...but in order to either A: save time or B: avoid paying will smith royalties for the song they play a short blurb of the song with no lyrics
The logo in my avatar is actually called a steal your face. Its a grateful (not greatful) dead logo. My older brother is a huge deadhead, and I've always liked the logo. I also love the dead, but not to the extent of a deadhead lol.

the name is ed, so i started with the name speacial.ed, and yes the mispelling was intentional. comments on me riding/driving the short bus kept coming up so the name got changed to short.bus and the rest is history.
Mines pretty simple i love dragons and i really like Japanese culture, plus i was born in the year of the dragon, so i decided to go with dragon spirit in Japanese which translates to RyuSeishin.

During a night of excessive alcohol consumption a group of friends and I decided that a tasty snack was of necessity. We created a think tank brainstorming group and collectively agreed upon soft pretzels. We then voiced disdain for store bought frozen pretzels and the lack of creativeness of typical pretzel toppings. We then rode bicycles to a 24/7 grocery store as a car ride would've resulted in mass mailbox destruction and possibly the death of a tree. We procured salt and yeast and flour and bottled water from isreal to make them holy pretzels. We then grabbed condiments (lol condiments) consisting of things such as barbeque sauce, sprinkles, Dijon mustard, hummus & goober peanut butter and jelly spread. That goober guy was a genius. We then paid for the materials while one of our illustrious members thought he could conceal steaks in his sweatshirt and swiftly depart with them in secrecy. For he was inebriated however and the steaks escaped his cloak in front a man with a badge who brought him to county sheriffs office and we did not reconvene with him until the following day. We then rode our sweet collection of bikes back to the kitchen of baking. We kneaded and tossed and laughed and salted. We preheated, salivated, greased pans and set timers. For the pretzels were baking in all of their succulent glory , the scents intoxicating and alluring. We intended to get headshots during this phase but instead formed a half circle in front of the oven window. Upon baking completion we wafted the beautiful smells into our nasal cavities and prepared the gauntlet of condiments. For I had chosen vanilla icing and sprinkles. Fuck all the other combinations they don't matter mine was the best. My name henceforth became pretzel. I am the pretzel king, bow before your master bitches.

Yeah, my family gave me sooo many nicknames. Meggo Leggo being one of the ones that stuck. I'm like... really? >.>
my long name is sniper_wolf-, just threw sniper in front of a _wolf- tag on broodwar, without even making the metal gear reference in my head. makes for an interesting conversation at lan's considering i'm a dude haha
